- Experience in a similar role - more than 12 months experience in a secretarial/administrative position
- Ideally tertiary level education (preference will be given to marketing or science)
- A results oriented attitude
- Ability to co-ordinate and organise your workflow to maximise the smooth running of the department
- Confident communication style enabling you to liaise at all levels
- Very competent PC skills - Word Excel PowerPoint
A snapshot of your working week could look like: - Administrative support to the Marketing and Sales teams within your product group
- Provide assistance to customers - provide samples, action emails, take messages, follow up and action matters as required etc
- Management of samples inventory
- Prepare and distribute sales material
- Co-ordinate team meetings - on and off site
- Co-ordinate conferences and expos attended by your team members
- Arrange travel etc for your team, managing the team's expense claims
- Liaise with media agencies
- Consistantly work towards deadlines in an organised way
