Our North Sydney based client is a leading provider of learning solutions in the school and higher education markets. Due to continual growth and a strong demand for their education services, they are looking to employ a number of experienced and professional customer service officers who will take on the positions of Student Services Officer.
Student Services Officers are primarily responsible for assisting in the delivery of the following services;
Orientation
Enrolment and re-enrolment
Timetabling and timetable management
Student financial issues such as payment of fees
Student attendance management and reporting.
Maintaining accurate student records
Entering student results and issuing transcripts
Facilitating student graduation
To be considered for these opportunities, applicants will need to possess the following attributes and meet these key criteria;
Ability to respond appropriately to customer enquiries with a strong customer service ethos
Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and ability to relate to other people and to work co-operatively as a member of a team
High level of computer/keyboard skills and a proven work record of accuracy and attention to detail.
A demonstrated capacity and willingness to learn new and different concepts of some complexity and to apply that knowledge to achieve specific objectives.
Superior verbal and written communication skills including excellent negotiation and conflict resolution
A knowledge of and experience in dealing with students both over the phone and in a face to face capacity.
